In 2019, Kyle AKA 'Beets', oldest son, came to him and asked for a custom baseball cleat for his upcoming high school season. With his years of being a sneaker head and a free time artist, and with baseball such a big part of the family, he went off on a mission to see what a custom cleat was all about. He took the time learning about the entire process and the products needed. Seven days later, his son had his cleats and then more and more friends and family looked to him for cleats and sneakers. After a few months, he was recommended to open an Etsy shop and then Kyle continued to grow his sneaker business through many other marketing channels.
In 2022, his other half Jennifer who he wasn't just in a relationship with but someone he has known since high school, wanted to get into the apparel world. Jennifer started her own Etsy shop selling apparel and then in 2023, the two of them teamed up together and Jennifer started Beets Custom Apparel & Designs. Jennifer's 25 years of experience in the apparel industry has been a huge asset to the company. Together, they have created a brand that is dedicated to providing high-quality custom products and exceptional customer service.
